 Drum Buffer
The drum buffer assures that the drum resource is not starved for work if the drum resource is available
early. It goes in the
project chain immediately upstream of the first use of the drum resource in the project. You can size
it as a feeding buffer
for the chain of tasks that precede it. Or, you can use a standard duration. When beginning CCPM, you
can leave this
buffer out with minimal damage.
